The original Star Trek, The 3 Stooges, The Honeymooners, the original Little Rascals, Laural and Hardy, the original Bugs Bunny and Tex Avery cartoons, The Rifleman, Sanford and Son,
the original Twilight Zone, Gun Smoke, Bonanza, Mail Call, most anything on the History Channel, and any show that exposes dictating egotistical elitists as the scum of the earth that they are regardless of the ridiculous letters---(D, R, I, L, G...)---that may or may not follow their last names...

Monk is great! For intense drama, 24 is the best...
My alltime favorite, which is only on PBS and DVD is an old show called the Prisoner. I think it was shown in the early or late 60's.
Other good comedies are Fawlty Towers and Are You Being Served both English...
