I haven't watched pokemon since the early seasons and judging by the new seasons they are still at it, different pokemon and voices but still the same pointless concept. They aren't very good at what they are trying to do and it shows time and time again when they get "blasted off again" or when they say thier little motto or chant.
I have to agree on your comment bout how they have money to buy the robots but none to buy food or pokemon/pokeballs with - go figure huh. This same concepts holds true with Wilie E coyote, looney tunes, who can buy everything under the sun from ACME, to grab ahold of the Road Runner, but not a sent to order take out with - holds the stories together I guess.
I really don't care much for pokemon anymore, just the same story told over and over again season after pointless season, so I can't coment any more than this.

I vehemently agree. Sure, it may be funny, but after awhile the joke wears off it, gets boring because you know for sure that inspite of all their efforts they are going to be sent "blasting off again" by Ash's pikachu (zzzz!) And i especially hate that part where they recite their dumb motto which hasnt been changed since the beginning of time.But it isnt just those two. The whole gang (Ash. & Co.) needs a facelift!! Or maybe the whole cartoon, it is so zzz inducing.
There is nothing wrong with watching or liking the pokemon cartoon(it is against my principles to call it an "anime" as it doesnt qualifies as one) though. People who diss others' favourites should be the ones who ought to get a life.
