my mobile phone is acting up a lot lately. one problem is that it's just popped up on the screen saying 'message inbox full'. so, i deleted most of them including the outbox. i have 15 messages now (which are the ones i want to keep) and it still says its full! what should i do?

it's not old and this hasn't happened before cos it can hold up to 80 messages. i have no voice messages and tried to take battery and sim card out but nothing has happened.

Get a new phone with a larger memory!

it's possible that the phone simply needs to be reset. Remove the battery for about 10 seconds (if the phone has a sim, remove that too) and then place it back in. That often fixes the problem. The message can also sometimes appear if the voicemailbox is full, but that's not likely.

Try switching your phone off and back on again that usually does the trick. It just like when you install or uninstall software on your pc it sometimes has to reboot for the changes to take place.

ive had this problem too, i phoned up phone provider and they said to turn phone off take out sim card for couple of seconds then put back and switch back on.......it worked for me,im with t-mobile.

May be its not your message Inbox. Try your voicemail. If not take it to your phone company they'll help.
