This question can have only one answer.

20 men complete the work in 30 days
i.e. 20 men do 1/30 part every day
i.e. 1 man do 1/600 part every day

So 5 men do 5/600 i.e. 1/120 part every day.
Now 5 men should leave the work to complete it in 35 days
i.e. in form of equation

Let the number of days before the 5 men leave be A

so 20 x 1/600 x(35 - A) + 15 x 1/600 x A = 1
i.e. 1/30 x (35 - A) + (1/40 x A) =1
i.e. (35/30) - (A/30) + (A/40) = 1
multiplying both sides by 120
i.e. (35 x 120/30) - (A x 120/30) + (A x 120/40) = 120
i.e. 140 - 4A + 3A = 120
i.e. 140 - A = 120
i.e. A = 20

So 5 men should leave the work 20 days before its completion of 30 days or we can say 5 men should leave the work after 10 days so that the work can be completed in 35 days.

The question doesn't make sense to me?

start with 20 men do a job in 30days
so 20men x 30days = 600 man days

If the question is how long will it take 5 men to do the job:
600man days / 5men = 120 days
