I have been wanting to buy the games "Call of Duty" and "Marine Sharpshooter" for a while now. They are available at Wal-Mart for 10 bucks in the jewel cases. The problem is I don't know if they will work on the computer I have. I have the Compaq Presario that Wal-mart sold a few years ago for like $800. I am able to play the first "Soldier of Fortune" and that works fine, i just don't know about these other 2.

Without you system model [full title] of specifications there is no way that we can check to see if the games will work. Seeming as you said the system you are using is a couple of years old, as are the games, I would assume that the game would work.

I would recommend however that you have:

Minimum specifications:

512 Ram
40 GB Hard Drive
Dvd | Cd Rom Drive x 6 speed
The Latest drivers for audio and Graphics cards

The Recommend for most games is:

1 GB Ram
80 GB Hard Drive
Dvd | Cd Rom Drive x 8 / x 16 speed

I hope this helps.

Personally I would expect the game to play fine.
If not there are many ways to trick your pc system into playing the games.

read the system requirements on the CD and then on your computer go to

start/settings/control panel/system and a box will show up

the only thing you need to worry about is your RAM so make sure u have almost twice as much as is minimum, and you need to check your hardware space, to do that go to my computer and right-click on your Local Disk (C:) and select properties, it should say capacity: 80GB or something

the back of the cd case should telll you everything you need to know. Just make sure you have more RAM and more Hard Drive space than required

I say go ahead and buy them and give them a try and if they don't work then just go return them. I hope that helps!

Try loading them on the computer. If it fails, then either you need more memory or you need Win XP (if you don't already have it) My friend still has Win. ME.
