Am I wronge to not give my college kids money for spring break after they have loans ect. and I pay all bills?

I have two college girls who just started spring break and are going to the beach. They have gotten loans which they knew they were going to the beach and how much they had to pay, but, blew the money. I pay their rent, they literally get all my money I work for, and I don't get anything for myself, and saved up some money to go back to school myself, but, this past week, my boss threatened me about my job, because I live and work at the same place, and have had mold, black mold growing all through the walls and such, and I've started getting very sick, and told them that I was getting sick and the dr. wanted to report it to the health dept, which he in turn said, if I do or anyone does, I won't have a job. I took this job, lost my house and my car, am not supposed to be working for I have internal health problems, and had to get off disability w/the dr.s saying I was crazy, but, it was the only way, and they got mad and pushed me, I told them, they won't ever touch me again, and no

Sounds like you need to make a call to Labor and Industries, they are violently against employees working in substandard conditions, the loss of your job is far better than, potentially losing your life due to mold. Mold spores are serious stuff and you shouldn't have to work/live like that, period. The health dept would appreciate a call as well, you may even get help moving to a different place. Now, the college kids, yeah, time for them to play grown up. I'd stop all financial help, concentrate on you, and let them fall where they fall. They will pick themselves up when you aren't laying down, cushioning the fall.

There is a limit to how much a parent can support a child , particularly an adult child .

Make it clear to the kids that you cant afford to help them anymore. If they cant get loans for school they will need to find a job.

Look after your own health. I would talk with a county welfare person. If your living quarters have mold and is unhealthy you should be suing your employer.
