I suggest you must go and see London eye (big peris wheel),The Big Ben, The Parliament, Tower Bridge of London, Tower Gate, Buckingham Palace (see the changing of guards every 11:30am and 3 pm),, Kensington Palace (where princess diana used to leave).
For ladies like us, who loves to do shopping, don't forget going to Knighbridge road where Harrods Store is located. It is a huge store where you see more of Princess Diana and Dondi Fayed's statuets. You must look for the memorial located at the basement. Here you can see the last wine glass (they used before they met and accident) and Princess Diana's engagement ring preserved and enclosed in a pyramid glass.
You must go to the wax museum (Madame Tosud) and have photo shoot with your favorite stars. Visit also London's hollywood (Leicester Road). Here you can see some of the star's foot prints and hand prnts). Here you can see also ODEON theater (where premier shows are being held during the red carpet ). Also you may try going to Covent Garden.
For souvenir items, you can get it from Bayswater and Queensway. Right accross the road from Queensway you can walk through the park going to Hyde Park corner.
For some affordable shopping stuffs, go to the Highstreet West Croydon, There you can go shopping around Primark,M&S,Tsibu,H&V, Zara, Next, Alders(perfume stores) a lots of shopping stores .
Take note, shopping stores there closes at 6pm. Unlike here, stores closes at 9pm or 10pm.
And if you love going to Ukay Ukay here, they also have that kind but not exactly an Ukay Ukay. They call it as Charity shops (Scope, Oxfam, British Cancer Society, etc.)
I guess I've given you some of the infos you needed.
Enjoy your trip.

I would not know where to begin. I have been there twice and these are some of the sites I visited and recommend: Westminster Abbey, Houses of Parliament, the West End Theater District, the Tower of London, the Tate Museum, Trafalgar Square, the National Gallery, St. Paul's Cathedral, the Imperial War Museum, riding the tube, Hyde Park, the British Museum, the Univeristy of London. I did not get a chance to see a football (soccer) match at the old Highbury Stadium, but would go see my favorite British team (Arsenal) play at their new pitch. These places were not built when I was last there, but look interesting: the London Eye (ferris wheel) the Thames Tide Barrier, the Millenium Dome, Canary Wharf, and the Docklands Light Railway.
