does anybody know how to get rid of those pesky wild onions growing in my yard. my yard is san augustine grass

get an old sock
soak it in Roundup
Wrap it around a stick
Take the soaked sock on the end of the stick and wipe it up and down the onion patches be careful you dont touch the grass underneath lest you kill it.
The onions will turn brown and die root and all

The only way without likely killing the whole lawn is to pull them, all of them...

Wait till after a heavy rain, then grasp each bulb at the bottom of the stalk and pull straight up. If any break off when you pull, you'll need to pry the bulb out with a little fork...
