Most certainly the weak minded can be influenced by certain TV shows especially reality shows.They dont realize the term Reality Show is an Oxymoron

If you can be hypnotized, then tv would be a definite possibility.
Otherwise,some are just mesmerized by thje escapism it brings to their lives at the time.
Some people can't watch reality t.v., just like watching tv news....
