just because you get a diploma from a university doesn't mean you have learned everything in your field, just that you're done with that school.
This goes for instrumentalists as well as singers: if you don't keep taking lessons, you will start to fall into bad habits or deteriorate. Despite a healthy-sized ego, a good musician has to acknowledge that s/he needs further help. For a good many years.
the lessons may get fewer and farther between, but even for a pro, once a month is a good idea. Just to stay honest.

of course they do , ever singer has to practice , they also need to keep there voices strong , and they need to learn the different pitches and melodies of different songs ,
