because they have to listen to everything that is going on and can't miss a thing. A minute in the bathroom you could miss something really important.

I dont think it is about "Having no shame", I think it is about being comfortable in your home when you dont have guests.. I myself have used the bathroom to many times to count with the door open, there is no big deal about it? Now men on the other hand them suckers can pee anywhere, out the back door, on the side of the road, anywhere they want to go, most do... and most will number 2 with the door open also, sit and talk to you while they are doing it and then when they come out they shut the door to hold the stink in..

No not all women pee with door open. But I am one that does, I am comfortable and lave my husband why should I have to shut the door. Yes I shut door if people are over but with someone you love you have already seen it so whats the problem. But thats just me and another reason why my bathroom door gets left open is yes so I can hear whats going on but I have 5 kids. So you have seen it all before.

I have seen more men peeing in public than women in the bathroom with the door open so I have no idea what you are talking about.

Don't you think you are being a little general? I COULD ask the same question..."why do men go to the bathroom with the door open?" That doesn't mean that ALL men go with the door open. Ask something a little more intelligent.

Bro, I have been around and I don't know of any of the women that I've been with to do that. I think that's just your girl. obviously She is very comfortable in front of you. Now I've been in the bathroom with my girl and she pee while I'm shaving with the bathroom door closed but, just wide open and I walk by..never.

What's shameful? Everybody pees. Guys stand around in the mens room and pee at a wall together. Is that shameful?

i think it is more of a protective instinct for me, i like to hear what's going on everywhere in the house except the bedrooms, i should also say that i have cats that hate for me to close doors and give me no peace until i open the door

I can't do that. I can't even talk on the phone when I'm in the Bathroom. My Husband on the other had is totally shameless. He moved our TV the other day. I figured out it was so he could pee and watch TV at the same time..... GUYS

because they have no manners i dont use the bathroom with the door wide open but thats just me. This is a strange twisted world we live in so be carfull.
