there is a culture of misogynicstic attitudes that comes out of many factors, including the sense that women's openness, vulneablitiy and emotional/nurturing essence is a threat to the desire of men to portray themselves and invulnerable and unaffected. but that's just some men, those who allow others to do the thinking for them :)

Cant say Ive noticed.There are a few chauvinists out there though and i think that what often happens is that they let themselves get wound up by comments written by feminists. Then they write something chauvinistic to make themselves feel better which upsets woman.Ive also noticed that its usually quite stupid people in general that let comments like these upset them.My final thought is that men are better than women at somethings and woman are better than men at other things.This good because in a relationship between two people of the opposite sex they can be more productive this way than if they were both good and bad at the same things. No idea.I go out to work all day,my wife stays at home,bonks the milkman,smokes all our dope,watches TV,then throws a frozen pizza in the oven for me just before I get home.So I can't understand why some men get jealous.

Jealous and NASTY. I don't know why, maybe they don't get out enough...sitting looking at the attention the girls get on Y A....bet it kills some of them!
I'd say 90% of the horrible answers I've had to my Q's are men...Says it all really....
