Well, I really like my home country. However, if it was for only a short period of time (a year or so) I would choose Italy. Such a beautiful country...

If I'm picking a temporary place, just for a year or so, then I pick Mexico. Its a great place with a phenomenal culture and the people there are some of the kindest folks you will ever meet.
For a permanent home, I would pick Ireland or Sweden. Ireland, because I visited and the countryside there was one of the most beautiful and tranquil places I have ever been. Sweden because a very good friend of mine is on exchange form there, and according to her it is heaven on earth.

Look, I live in Croatia, small State in South Europe, but real jewel by the geographycal position. In Croatia you can swim in Adriatic Sea and 30 minutes later skiing on mountain. Of course, there are and plains and mild climate conditions. From the other places on this Planet I prefer Boa Vista, islands into Atlantic Ocean near North Africa.
