Because its easier? And yes, you should start taking pictures of him. Bringing the police into might be a little extreme at this point. That's just my opinion.

The best way to find out is to ask him. The most direct route is usually the best route. We might have some ideas but we couldnt guaranteed that is why he took your paper.

Cause that would be trespassing..... lol.
I used to work at a hotel and I would go out side to smoke, lay my cigarette down, come back outside, and it would be gone. I eventually found the culprit.
