kovu's father's identity was never given. kovu was chosen as an heir to scar, an adopted son.

Kovu isn't Scar's son. He is the first to be born after Scar died! So there pride made Kovu and titled him Kovu's son and will finish what Scar had done!

Zira, Kovu, and all of the other dark coloured lions were DESCENDENTS of Scar, but Scar was not his father. In the movie, they never said who was the father. But I love Kovu, he's so cute.

No it wasn't Scar.

i think it was scar cuz the evil lady lion kept telling him to avenge him. but then again scar might just have been a sort of icon to them.
