I think the government should not be regulating conduct that doesn't cause actual harm to people.

But sadly, most people seem to think the government should be legislating morality, and forbibly imposing the views of one particular religion one everyone else.

I don't really get why Americans are so offended by the human body. The scandal about Janet Jackson's breast was over the top. Nudity and sexuality have very little to do with each other. While a agree porn is certainly not for children seeing a bare breast is not necessarily sexual and I am not personally offended.

For children, seeing violence can be vary damaging, but people are much more willing to expose them to that than nudity. Our nude body's are the natural human condition, inflicting or enjoying violence is not.

In Europe and South America nude sunbathing is almost the norm, but here you must be a perv or some sexual deviant. As long a we have the puritanical Christan right calling the shots it is not likely to change in the US

I'm not sure what you are driving at. Nudity is typically banned except on beaches posted for nudity, and at private events/clubs.

There is nothing wrong with nudity at any age. The spa I go to has whole families around the hot tub at weekends, and everyone is naked. Same goes for the sauna.

Americans generally have to learn what Europeans already seem to know; being nude does not automatically equate to sex. Social nudity is liberating and fun; and a large crowd of people of all shapes and sizes is certainly not a sexual turn on!

Not really, because it's the public. Little children are in the public, and every other person and many would be offended, it will never happen.
