my last period was jan.27,2007 me and my boyfriend have sex very regularly,it is now Mar.24 and i haven't had a period since jan.27.my periods are usually regular (maybe a day or 2 late) around the time my period was supposed to be due i had a lil cramping, tender brest, and a headache here and there which is nothing unusal for me. i took a test the day before my missed period (feb.26) it came out neg. i took another test on the 9th of march which also came out negative i don't have any pregnancy symptoms except a lil brest tenderness and i seem to get a headache almost everynight. i don't wanna keep wasting money on test when maybe i just need to wait a little bit longer ......could i be preg. or could this just be a really late period??
**THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR THE HELP**

Delay/Difference in Menstruation:
A delayed or missed menstruation is the most common pregnancy symptom leading a woman to test for pregnancy. When you become pregnant, your next period should be missed. Many women can bleed while they are pregnant, but typically the bleeding will be shorter or lighter than a normal period. This symptom is commonly explained by other reasons. If you have been sexually active and have missed a period, it is recommended that you take a test
Other Explanations: Excessive weight gain/loss, fatigue, hormonal problems, tension, stress, ceasing to take the birth control pill, or breast-feeding.
If you do not chart or monitor your fertility in any way, and you think you may have conceived, you should wait 19 days (or longer) after having sex to test. Why 19?! Sperm can live approximately 5 days in the proper environment; if the sperm managed to live until you popped an egg, the actual conception could have taken place several days after the sex act that got the sperm there. To make sure you're not testing too early, assume the sperm had very long lives (5 days is considered a very long sperm life) and that conception occurred then. Then allow 14 days for the embryo to implant and develop enough hCG to show up on a pregnancy test (96% of pregnant women will test positive by then.)

From experience wait one more week or get a blood test. My last period was Jan 22. Towards the end of Feb my period didn't come but every test for the next week were neg. March 10th I got a faint positive and went to the doctors. (Funny story: The nurse kept asking if I remembered what color my urine sample was and how full it was. They mixed up my urine sample with someone else's so they kept telling me I was negative.) I insisted on getting a blood test and on March 14th they called and said it was positive! Long story short, I was about 6 weeks pregnant before I got a positive. Your symptoms were very similiar to mine at first! Good luck and I hope this helps!

I would take another test next time you go to the store. It has been long enough since your last period to determine if you could be pregnant or not. Good luck and let me know how you make out if you have a chance.

Another test is needed but I would talk to your Dr and get a blood test. Some women can't get a positive result from a home test.

If you don't get your period by March 27, take another test.

Try not to be so stress up as stress can delay your menses further. Get a blood test from the clinic. It's more accurate than preg kit.
