The Yankees overall, but of the two teams from your bet I would say the Cardinals. Sure the Braves are on TBS becasue both are owned by Ted Turner. But the Cardinals were the baseball team for poeple as far west Denver before the Rockies joined the league.

I would take the Cards over the Braves.
But the Yankees and Cubs have to be the most popular. Everyone knows the Yankees, being one of the most iconic logos, and the Cubs because half of their games are on WGN tv, which is a national station. So people can watch the Cubs without cable over the majority of the country.

Houston Astros. The top 3 largest cities in america are NY LA and Chicago. All three of those cities have 2 teams. The fourth largest city is Houston they have only 1 team. So by pop Houston wins

Unfortunately, I'd have to agree with the Yankees. Now, if you were talking hockey it would be the Red Wings. In some arenas there are almost as many Wings fans as the home team!
