im a psychology degree student and want to do a study into emotional intelligence but need an emotional iQ test to use, preferably one that has been used before in a psychological study and that is free that i can preferably just print off the net

One option would be to look at other studies that may have tested emotional intelligence. If it is a valid test though, you won't likely be able to get it too easily. If all the tests were out there, then people would answer differently to them, and make them invalid. You could also try the Mental Measurements yearbook.

Here you go I found a psychological scale on Emotional Intelligence for you. However you need to go to Senate House to get a copy of it. Or maybe you should consider getting hold of the details of Schutte's email address and then emailing him/her to ask for a copy. Psychologists are usually willing to help out students. The best way to get hold of Schutte's email adrress is do a search and when you locate one of this/her articles it will have contact details attached.
