usually when kobe Scores more he ends up in court and he needs to leave the white hunnies alone.

i cant stand all the kobe haters who say that the lakers would do better if kobe passed. newsflash people they lsot 7 straight while he was passing and now that he is scoring the have won 4 straight. i think that is evidence enough but i will keep going. another argument they have is that he can only score against bad teams and he wont be able to do it against a good team. that is bs. u cant stop him. if he is in a groove like he is whenver they need a win no one can stop him. he is very similar to micheal jordan. he can be double teamed and still get the shot. tripled teamed and still hit 50 and win. they call hi mslefish but who is he supposed to pass too. have of the players are too wimpy and get injured every other week and the others can be relied on at all. if i was a team in the playoffs and i had to play kobe theni would be afraid.

The Lakers are better when Kobe scores over 30. They still need Lamars scoring and especially his rebounding though. When Kwame or Bynum are stopping guard penetration the Lakers are better. They need Kobe to score a alot but the still need everyone else to step up. Basically, when the Lakers have been healthy they have been a top 5 team. It looks like they are getting healthy for the playoffs so they are going to be a team no one wants to face in the first round.

well u only have to check his game stats.
past 4 he has scored more then 50 and dished out a small amount of assists and his team has won.
there have been games where kobe has passed up 6-10 assists and his team has lost, and this has happened on many occassions.
hes top 5 player in the L, he needs to score and put pressure on opposing teams. i dont think kobe should be giving up more then 5-7 assists per game. as a dominant shooter he needs to do just that. for each pass he makes to a player in a good spot, how many times does that player hit the shot? hes passing up opportunities to score....hes passing up opportunities to get the W.
ultimately its a team game, but kobe cant keep being the team player and lose his competitive fire. he may average 6 dimes per game, but im sure hes passing off around 15-20 passes that didnt translate into the shot scored....too much for a player of his calibre

Kobe will keep them a decent team during the season when he scores so much simply because there are so many terrible teams out there. He wont stand a chance against the elite teams of the west in the playoffs though. He needs some help

Absolutely!!! I don't know why he has been playing so modest this season I wonder if it's Phil Jackson talking that share the ball Buddhist crap or is it the media getting to him when they call him a ball-hog. Kobe is an offensive weapon. It's always amazing to me watching a single player discombobulate another teams defense. I don't see anything wrong with going out and scoring fifty every night if your team is winning.

They have a better chance when they play the bad teams who have no one decent enough to guard him. But when he faces teams like Dallas and the Spurs he will not make 50% of his shots. Which will end up in them losing by double digits.

Not even. He needs his teammates' help,a lot of it, regardless if he's a top scorer. He can't carry the whole team into the championship, as much as I like him. Now the Detroit Pistons... that's a winning Team.
