you cant say the money is for charity if you are taking any yourself. (even if it is just 50p for some chips). If I were you I would be wary, although you could tell a teacher /someone with a trustworthy position in the community what you want to do and then they may be able to help you and then it will be legitimate, and you will probably make more money for charity. Although the problem with that is the schools on a health kick often dont allow chocolate in school. You can not legitimately take a penny from that money though if you tell people it is for charity and it would be immoral to do so. It would be perceived as taking money from charity (even though you are collecting it for them). Anyway good luck, nice that you are thinking of others / just be careful and seek an adults guidance with this.

It may be legal, but is it ethical? The fact that you say you give the profits to charity shows that you feel guilty about doing it. Why not just tell the kids where to buy the cheap sweets? If you want to collect money for charity, by all means do so, but don't use charity as a way to salve your conscience!

It is legal. You are doing business and learning how to have profits from it. Right on dude! Just don't get greedy and trade chocolates for some illegal substances

It's legal to marry your cousin in England. If you're breaking the law selling cheap chocolate God help us.

It's legal. It's no different than buying them from the retailer and selling them in a shop.

If you stole the chocolate bars (or anything else for that matter) and then tried to resell it, that would be illegal.

Yes. Unless you are under some contractual obligation, or unless you are violating some trademark by re-branding the product to hide its actual origin.

Other than that, you can buy something, then resell it, all you want.

Hi!

Yeah, my kids do this at school all the time!

They take their 'cut' to cover their expenses etc.

Makes perfect business sense if you ask me!!

I'm sure it's not legal, but it doesn't stop my 12 year old daughter. She's making a tidy profit.
