i think the same way, im not sure why but when i see a dog alll bloody an beat up..i feel worse for him than i do for a human...i guess its because the animals cant really stick up forthemselves as well as we can...also they did nothing to us to deserve their cruelty...but some humans do...thats how i see it

I think cruelty to animals is probably a good indicator of a person who is cruel in general, and who will, sooner or later, be cruel or even abusive to humans as well. I distinguish cruelty from other infliction of pain when it is done for no other reason than gratification for the individual; I do not personally have a problem with animal research that would spare the lives of human beings, but I don't believe in inflicting unnecessary pain to animals or anything/anybody.

okey, think about it this way..animals are like humans too you know..they have a life some of them have probably been around longer than we have. human cruelty is bad too, but mostly humans cause animals to suffer. not that humans are to blame..they are just some humans out there that are really cruel! and thats bad..

I believe cruelty to any living thing is wrong. Many animals can't really defend themselves against humans....

I believe cruelty to both animals and humans is wrong.
I don't think that animals should be given higher priority, however.
It really irks me that a bunch of PETA kooks would step over a homeless person lying on the sidewalk while rushing to throw red paint on a supermodel wearing a chincilla (sp?) coat.

No. this is not wrong because humans can fight back and call someone very easily if they are in danger unlike most animals!!! They seem tough, but really are gentle and need more love then anyone else in the world because of what is happening to them today!!!

Absolutley yes,
I cant stand people who abuse animals period. Now people abusing other people, it dont bother me, cause I'm not the one being the abuser or the abusivee. animals were put on the earth for us to take care of them, no matter what kind they are. If I ever see someone abusing an animal, then I will be the abusive one.

Yes because, animals have never done anything wrong and all people are doing is hurting an innocent animal. People should not have animals if all they are going to do is be mean to them.

I don't think it is wrong to think that animal abuse is worse then human abuse. I agree that animal abuse is much worse. Mostly because animals can't defend themselves and they have to put up with it untill they can't take it anymore.

No dogs and other animals can't defend themselves like humans can. I think it is worse too.
