well it needs to fit around you waist and the leftover should not exceed you second belt loop

You wouldn't know it if you don't fit it on. Fit the belt and the best that gives you comfort is the one you are looking for.

measure your waist and but the same size usually the same as when u buy trousers

It should be two inches larger than your pant size (men) or two inches larger than your waist (women).

well when theres no one looking i try it on and if it fits i buy it but thats just me
