1. Admit he went to war with Iraq because he did not like Sudam Hussein, and no other reason.
2. Give everyone National Health-care
3. Make all power plants environmentally kind, only windmills from now on.
4. Tell the world that Nancy Pellosi is actually a brilliant women who has all the answers.
5. Pass law making it illegal to make any new cars or trucks that use fossil fuels.
6. Increase the minimum wage not to 7.35 and hour, but 10.00
7. Allow people to remain on Welfare for 20 years, and give them a 5% cost of living annually.
That would do it, we would be bankrupt, every penny we made would go to taxes but the left would be oh,, so happy.

Honestly, I think if he managed to make america itself a little more popular it would help.
75% of foriegn nations think we're cocky and dumb, we abuse our power and make too many big mistakes.
75% of Americans feel the same way about Bush.
Maybe if we shared the same goals as our allies we wouldn't have to bear the brunt of an unpopular war.
Our president is supposed to our frontman, our face in national policy, a beacon that the entire country stands behind. He's supposed to represent us.
I think he gives the image to most people, both american and elsewhere, that the american government cannot be trusted.
Trust is crucial to popularity

I guess he could switch to the Democratic party and fold under popularity polls, do the exact opposite of what he believes is best for the country, by just changing his mind with popular opinion...

His job is not to be popular. It's to do what he believes is right for this country.

Why should he care? He's only going to be in office for 1.5 more years. I'm sure he could care less. I know I wouldn't.
