I bled and spotted until I was around 13 weeks pregnant. I also had really bad cramps like the kind you get when you first start your period. I always called the nurse on call and she said that as long as I was soaking a pad once an hour, then there wasn't any reason to come in. Also, if the blood is dark brown in color then it is old blood and nothing to worry about at all. I would go ahead and call your doc just to let them know of the situatoin.

There can be many reasons.. have you talked to your doctor about this? My sister in law bleed her whole pregnancy for her first son. She had to stay in bed her whole nine monthes.. the same thing happened with a friend of my moms. Sometimes you will bleed slightly around week 6 or 8, this is normal, but if it's period type bleeding.. something may be wrong. The only way to know for sure is to talk to your doctor and have another ultrasound done. I wish you the best.

I had a friend who bled every month during her pregnancy--it had something to do with the blood vessels around her cervix--not the actual baby itself. They had to cauderize her cervix.
I also had bleeding at 9 weeks--the placenta wasn't attaching properly. Thankfully everything was ok. A little bedrest for a week and the placenta attached perfectly. No placenta previa at all, thankfully. So, there are many reasons for bleeding to occur.
I would call your doctor and get things checked out. You are still in that zone of miscarriage, so anything can happen. Hopefully it isn't anything serious. Then you can relax. Good luck!

I am sorry to hear that and I will keep you in my prayers. It sounds as if your body is trying to reject the pregnancy. I had that same problem when I was pregnant with my little girl but my doctor put me on bedrest and told me to keep my feet elvuated and I made it to term with her only to lose her to SIDS 2 months later. Now I am pregnant again and having that same problem again only my hormone level dropped and then went back up and then dropped again. But now the bleeding has stopped and I have to get another beta HCG before I go back to the doctor and/or before I can go back to work. But try to get as much rest as possible and keep your feet eluvated. Don't worry about it and please don't stress. Good luck and I will keep you in my prayers.

Some people bleed throughout their pregnancy, but I would go to either your doctor or the hospital just in case. If nothing is wrong, at least you will ahev peace of mind.
