Why do people fall out of love? My husband fell out of love with me and fell in love with one of his employees who he had an affair with. I asked him to give our marriage one last shot, will he ever be able to fall back in love with me?

It means your husband is very immature. Marriage is about making a decision to stay committed no matter what. You don't always "feel" in love - the feelings come and go - it's about making the decision to stay committed regardless of how you feel!! If I were you, I'd move on.

How did he fall out of love with you? Are you sure it isn't an excuse for his cheating? If not then I suggest you two try counseling. Since he fell in love with you to marry you, married you then seemingly fell outta love there is something he must have discovered about you that changed his feelings. If so then how can he fall back in love with you when he now knows this? If it changed his feelings in the first place it might not go back. You should have a frank talk and see if this is worth saving. He cheated on you, fell in love with someone else, fell outta love with you, he obviously doesn't want to be married to you and maybe you're ignoring the signs.

First of all he cheated on you, punish his *** for that! But see people, they always want to blame the guy. I am not blaming either of you. I am simply saying it takes two to fall in love and on the other hand it takes two to fall out as well. I know you still love him deeply in your heart but what changed? Maybe it is something he changed or something you changed? But trust me, it is something that changed. Life today is at a pace where if you bottle it up and put it in a race car no one would ever catch it. Yeah people always fly by and go "oh look at the pretty roses" but does anyone ever slow down and smell them? Hell no, slow down, look around, see what and where you were when you where both madly in love and see what is different. Maybe you both should take a long weekend, go somewhere, get away, hell go to Vegas, anywhere away from your own place. Spend time together having fun see what happens. Attraction is a chemical thing, a drug the body releases. It wears off after a few years. Then love and friendship has to pick up the slack.
He has found a new source of the drug, attraction. Your only chance might be trying to be his friend, hang out. Make sure you both are always having fun. Do not argue.

You know what he has not fallen out of love with you. he is in LUST with her. Shes probably flaunted herself at him. No one can build happiness on the hurt of another person. He is being selfish. Do yourself a big favour buy the book LOVE and RESPECT by Dr Emerson Eggerich and also WIld at heart by John Eldredge. It will explain a lot to you, and help you do things the right way. PS THis is not your fault. He chose to commit adultery. You could not choose for him! I think you have the right to sue the pants off that girl by suing her for ALIENATION OF AFFECTION. THere is a law about that! If you want to keep your husband then its not going to be a good way to go, but should he choose her over you, you can sue her for a lot.
My suggestion to read those books is good, because those books made a huge difference to many people that I have recommended them to and they have come back to me and told me so. They helped my marriage too.

Do you think you should put yourself through that. He made the choice to cheat on you let him worry about if you will ever fall back in love with him.Now is the time to worry about loving yourself enough to get over what he did to you.

It is possible that he is infatuated with that w*tch and that he will come back to you when he regains his senses. If you feel in your heart that he still loves you and are willing to work it through, you can make it happen. For now, be patient, seek counseling for yourself and do whatever it takes to make you feel at peace with who you are. The laws of attraction will bring him back to you if indeed you want him back. You will be able to have him back on your terms.

There's a chance, but if he fell in love with you he obviously no longer loves you and it will take awhile for him to love you again. Why would you want a guy like that? Respect yourself and find a guy who will treat you like a princess.
