I think you're talking about "Beauty & the Beast". The beast was Ron Perleman (Hellboy) The girl's name was Katherine Linda Hamilton (Woman from Terminator) Beauty and the Beast originally debuted on 1987 and had its season finale on 1989.
Vincent was an anomally, he wasn't a werewolf. Very sad to see this show go.

I remember a show then called Lucan, but I think he was raised by wolves, he might have turned into one , I can't be sure, but it was called Lucan.
