Is it possible to use your mind and language to tell your body and cells to do something? I mean they are commanded by the brain, and maybe if we tell our brain to tell our body to do something like "heal" or "get taller" or "grow my hair longer" could that work? Why doesn't this make sense?

yeah that makes sense i believe we can heal ourselves. our body and brain have to be in balance and our body has to be strong enough to heal itself(fight off infection). the two are often at an odds.

Because our bodily systems are far more complex than that. The height we achieve, the speed at which our hair grows, are governed by dna. The thought processe in our brains are not in control of that.

Oh, and mri scans have proven that we use 100% of our brains. Different parts of the brain are used for different things. It's a myth that we only use a part of our brain.

the "we" you are talking about is just a pattern of neuron-firings in the brain. those things are controlled by automatic systems. i think the term is sympathetic/parasympathetic nervous system... and then you have genetics and whatnot... look up those terms on wikipedia and drill around a bit.

It does make sense. The trouble is we use such a small portion of our brain, we cant find that particular area and develop it to use. does that make sense?

The more you connect with your body, the sooner you will recognize when something is amiss.
