If a person comes from a society that is not brave and their family has a history of being cowards. Can that person be a brave person.

Environment plays a great role in shaping up a person's personality. Assuming that heredity does not decide the abstract qualities like cowardice, bravery etc and only determine colour,height, physical features etc., I would believe the person will be a coward simply because of lack of alternate environment. Having said that, if that person is taken away from his environment and put amongst brave people, have a first hand experience of that kind of thinking the chances of his becoming brave are quite even......
