Not mine but when I was young, I remembered my tutor's hamster gave birth to few lil ones. Next few days, she started eating her own babies. It was so traumatizing for a young girl to be seeing lil headless hamsters!!!!!!!!!!!! I ll never forget the sight!

Hamsters can grow to be cannibalistic. My cousins had 2 woman hamsters in a cage and one ate the different. I found out in one among my animal wellbeing training at college that that's truly fairly trouble-free and might happen devoid of warning. in case you haven't any longer have been given young infants to concern approximately finding one hamster chewing on the different (like my little cousins), or are not thoroughly grossed out by utilising this tidbit, then i think of they're going to be ok. What my aunt did the subsequent time became have one large cage with a wheel and different hamster toys and then 2 separate cages related to the facet with doorways she ought to open to enable the hamsters into the greater advantageous imperative cage mutually as the infants watched. i've got additionally heard that male hamsters tend to get alongside greater advantageous, yet i won't have the capacity to determine this. sturdy success!

This summer my job was to care for hamsters, rats, gerbils, and mice. And one thing I learned is if a hamster gets sick or gets hurt the other hamsters will kill and eat the hamster. I guess it there way of helping them...But its not uncommon so no need to worry.

Yes, late last December I starved my two pet Hamsters until they were on the brink of death! I then set up a death match arena for them to fight! The both of them entered the ring and you could tell by their screeching that they knew what was up. Both of them fought to the death! Mr. Wigglesworth was the victor!
