I need to make a working model of a kidney nephron, does anyone have any suggestions on how??

Hi,

I think I can help. A kidney nephron works basically like a filter. It filters out all particles but blood. To make this you will need filter paper (the coffee kind), red food coloring, water, a cup, some sand, and maybe some pebbles.

1. To make it work, place the filter paper over the cup, dye the water red (this will imitate blood) then keep the sand and pebbles to the side.

2. Next mix the sand and the pebbles together with the water. You should get a nice mixture. If you like you can experiment with different ingredients.

3. In class, take the mixture and pour it over the filter paper into the cup. The red water (blood) will go through, but the pebbles and sand (minerals and urea) will be left behind.

Well, in your case I'm not sure... I'm advanced in modeling and I have an agent. I model for some brands so usually no one just tells me while I shop that I have their look. But I'm 14. I was going to tell you to take the job but since you're 23, you'll have to work there and not just model :( But still it would be better if you post some pics
