Well, I'm 37. I would go up to about 45. My current boyfriend is 31. I don't know how old you are, but I think 5 years in either direction is okay (as long as they're over 18).

I am happy to meet anyone of any age. Why not? Now, it depends what the object of the meeting is, doesn't it. If it is just to make friends, well and good. There should be no problem with someone of 8 meeting someone of 80 (or vice versa). If you are thinking of something more than friends, then it's a different matter.
Acceptable age differences tend to increase with age. A person of 15, shall we say, should not consider going out with someone older than 18 but a person in their 30's could quite happily see someone between 20 and 40. The tendency is for the female to be younger than the male, but there have been many exceptions.

I went 13 years older with my fella. When I first met him I didnt know his age, I was 27 and he said he was 40 I must admit I felt shocked. However he didnt look it and still looks loads younger, I think its about how you connect, as long as the age diff isnt a problem. I wouldnt go any older than this now though. Certainly not some really old bloke like you see in Take A Break etc.

Meeting someone any age. A love relationship 10 years up or down. This has less import as we age. The younger you are the more you need to have someone the same age.

The men I date are always younger than I am. I can go about 7 years younger, any younger would just bother me. Maybe 3 years older than me, but it's really hard to say.

Had a long term relationship with a guy 15 years younger than me, and have been out with a guy 7 years older. Prefer guys around my age as it means we share musical influences amongst other things. But as I get older I find it harder to find guys my age that haven't let themselves go to seed!!
Why is it that women seem to wear better than men these days?

I think you are going to get quite varied answers depending on an answerer's age, interesting question. I'm 31, my last girlfriend was 20, three months before I got together with her, I had split up with a 43 year old. In both cases the age didn't matter, it was all about how they made me feel, and of course, how I made them feel. I think age differences seem to matter a lot more to you when you are young (teens to early twenty's) but it's less of an issue as the years pile on.
