Right now I have a mini, the old kind with a black and white screen. I am really wanting a video, though. I know their expensive, but do you think it's worth switching? And... if I do decide to, where's a good place to sell my mini for a good price?

Can't see the reason for video on the new Ipods. The screen is so little what is the sense. You can usually go to a Slackers and sell your old one.

It depends on how many songs you have. I would get the 30 gig if you just had an Ipod mini. Most people don't have enough songs, photos, video, etc, to fill a 60 gig. I remember switching from an iPod ini to a 30 gig. It worked for me because now I have enough room for my 3400 songs, 400 photos, 2 movies, etc, etc. It was very irksome before to go through my entire library everytime I charged my iPod an pick which 1000 songs I would put on my mini. I would advise, with the purhase of a new iPod, a purchase of a wall charger. That way, you can leave your computer off instead of on, and wasting power for 4 hours. Remember not to leave your iPod charging for long after it's full of charge, as it could hurt the battery and shorten it's life.

Good luck !!

OK. First how much are you willing to pay? If you don't care, how much space do you want for music? And what size?

If you want a tiny iPod, with only 1GB of music, and all you want is music, NOTHING else, and you want it cheap around $100, get the iPod Shuffle

If you want a small sized iPod around 4GB, and you'd like a screen and SOME small features, and you would be willing to pay around $200, get a nano.

If you don't care about the size, and you want 30GB, you want as many features as possible, and you are willing to pay A LOT, get the video iPod.

Other than that, I have all 3. I think they are all worth it, but the video is THE best. I love the video! But if you are consurened about size, and you only want it for music, and you don't want to pay a lot, ($500) I don't recomened this.

Good Luck!
