We worry every month. My husband is a roofer, and we have 4 kids between us and I am currently going to school so that I can get a teaching degree.

I'm not rich but I manage my money so I have no debt other than the mortgage
If I want something such as a meal out we have it but not every night
If I wanted anew car I would have to save for a few years before I could have it
Never lose sleep worrying about bills or debt
Have 2 children and work week ends, partner as an average wage

constant battle with the bills, i wouldn't say we are dirt poor but 2 adults and 2 kids on one salary in our case is a struggle at the best of times, i know that having children is a so called "life choice" but it is not made any easier when things like fuel go up we most certainly feel it when it comes to the weekly shopping bill also creeps up. I have no real complaints as such about the way we live just a few little niggles.

Use to we would have to worry about where we were going to sleep that night, or where we could get something to eat. Didn't have any bills to worry about because we didn't have a home.

Now, however, we're doing okay. We still get a lot of help from family, but I'd say we are around lower to middle class. Though, if we didn't receive help we would be below the poverty line still....

I worry abouthow were gonna pay the bills in the future. At the moment we are just about surviving. But what about when we retire? My pension aint that good. And all our insurances are due to finish then, so what about emergencies or even death? I will be a poor corpse, unable to bury myself. Ill have to wrap me in a shroud and roll myself down to the tip.

the bills get paid the food gets bought and have always
had dependable transportation (range = what can I afford)
consider myself wealthy, but monetarally probably in the
low middle range (you know, the ones that can afford the
least, but pay the lions share of taxes without loopholes)

I've had no money, had money, then lost it all again. Do not rely on money to bring you happiness. Most likely, you will be disappointed. Live life one day at a time.
