I was just browseing through questions and was devasted to the responses and reactions towards turkish people, some are all for everyone being individual and turks being human beings, but some people really cause a stir about things they know nothing about and are quite abusive! Heres my advice, get to know more cultures, and come to realise everyone is individual be it turkish greek chinese japanese whatever, agreed?!

IMO i think this is going to take a very very very long time for people to see other people as equal. This is because in alot of states 90% of the people are white with the other 10% being black. So how are they gonna learn about hispanics, asains, pacific islanders, indians, ect. It will be hard to get equality when you have the people in the southern states raising their confederate flag proudly, wishing slavery still existed. The even worse thing about this is they pass on that mentality and ignoracne to their children and they think and act the same way.

Staying in a blinkered corner is safe, comfortable and requires no effort. People are lazy and complacent about anything outside their day to day life experience. They remove others from their day to day experience constantly by practising denial each and every day of their lives. How many people do you pass each day in the street? Do they exist, or are they lamposts, rocks, postboxes etc.

Is it a natural state to pass another human without engaging with them and acknowledging their existence/humanity, etc? We are now not poite enough to say hello and mean well to strangers we pass or even neighbours next door. We have desensitised ourselves to each other. Laziness, fear, complacency, self-absorbtion and our custom of justifying and enjoying our extravagant lifestyles whilst watching others suffer, all make it easy to ignore the other as irrelevant and invalid.

The final destruction of humanity is when we start to accept urban living (and the laissez faire free market) as a natural state for humans, and do not question what we are doing to ourselves.

Unfortunately, as long as there are ignorant, or just plain stupid, people on earth that will never happen. We can try to educate people, and it might work for most, but there will ALWAYS be some who cannot, of will not, accept the truth that all people and cultures are equal.

certainly, there have been some...Queen Boadicia, case in point. lots of the community American tribes have been matriarcal...of direction, you're able to make the argument that, for the reason that they did no longer have writing, they have been prehistoric....the two societies, in facgt. And, once you're stunning related to stone-age societies, you're incorrect that they did no longer make a contribution to the form (or, certainly, you propose progression) of society. And, definite, adult adult males took over with regard to an identical time that writing, and hence, history, have been invented.

Probably never, my friend. People will never see each other as equal. It is human nature: We love to divide and classify. If it's not black and white, it's Christian and Moslem, Catholic and Protestant, rich and poor, urban and rural, foreign born and native...

It's just the way we are...Fearful creatures, we are
