I heard that Mcdonalds gets all there Coke products for free just so they wont use Pepsi, plus Coke gets all the advertising. Is this true?

nope
they have what is called "pouring rights".
they give mcdonalds extra attentive service and a national network of locations that can provide that service.
plus a pretty cheap price, based on a contract.
pepsi could try to get in, but it probably is not cost effective enough for them to buy all the equipment they would need to service mcdonalds.

No, they have a partnership with coke. So they signed a contract, saying they will only buy coke and only advertise coke. What does Mc Donald's get out of this deal? Well they charge less for the advertisements and pay less for the coke. But nothing is free.

I don't think they get it for free, but I is an exclusive contract. Coke is giving them a good deal on the drinks in exchange for McDonald's not to use Pepsi or other soft drink.

No, they have a contract with the Coke company. They eceive special promotions and discounts if McDonald's agrees to not sell rival products.

Random but very interesting fact about McDonalds and Coke: your small coke costs less than a cent to produce (that's a huge profit for them and a huge ripoff for us) and their large only costs about two cents (for the syrup). Read "Fast Food Nation" -- it's really eye opening! (The movie does not do justice to the book, though . . . )

no, they do not receive coke for free but MacDonald's get coke so cheap that every MacDonald's employee can take a bath with coke every day and still make profit.
