If I bought a PS3 game(Blue-Ray Disc) in Singapore, can it be playable to a US/JAPAN version PS3?

I found these on my manual:

Region Codes

Blue-ray disc ------> Region code A
DVD ------>Region code 3 & ALL
PS3 BDrom ------->Region 3 & ALL
PS/PS2 ------->Ntsc/J

Could someone tell me whats the meaning of this?

Look inside your manual for your PS3. Early on it should tell you what zone the system supports. US games are zone 1. If you system is capable of playing zone 1 then you can play it. The same is true with any system/dvd player and any game/movie.

I can't remember, so I'm not 100% sure, but I though I read somewhere that the PS3 are zone free. Like I said, not 100% sure of that one, but if it is true then you can play it anywhere.
