Generally, the way it works is that your employment is a contract agreed to by you and your employer when you agree to take the job.

I personally try not to take jobs that I don't like. :-)

It would only be mandatory if there were some state or federal law to that effect. If there is no law, then there's nothing requiring the corporations to do that.

If you don't like working for that corporation, then don't.
That's the nature of a free market economy.

Laws vary by state. Some states may require 2 consecutive days off out of some number. Check your local listings.

You should look up the Truth About Right To Work States...you have no rights, except that to be fired for any reason at management's pleasure! Work for change that will benefit the average worker!
