It most certainly does, in some form or another. I see it happening to people often when they wonder why something bad or wrong is happening to them... they need an attitude adjustment.

Karma is a sum of all that an individual has done, is currently doing and will do. The results or "fruits" of actions are called karma-phala. Karma is not about retribution, vengeance, punishment or reward, karma simply deals with what is. The effects of all deeds actively create past, present and future experiences, thus making one responsible for one's own life, and the pain and joy it brings to others. In religions that incorporate reincarnation, karma extends through one's present life and all past and future lives as well. It is cumulative.

Basicly Karma reflects the sayings...For every action is a reaction..good or bad..the choices you make will reflect the outcome!

I think it does in away, but I believe there is more of a scientific reason for it.
One possible explanation is that when someone does something they know to be wrong or bad, that action stays in their mind and haunts their conscience, which interns causes them screw up something else. For example, say you cut some body off on the interstate, then while you were looking in your rear view mirror to see if the guy is flicking you off, you end up hitting something thats in front of you.

I also think however that peoples lives work in cycles, or wave lengths. Everyone has there ups and downs, there good days, and there bad. Thats just the way it is. Well what would happen if in one of your bad days you did something that prevented your down turn from going as far down as it was supposed too. Couldn't that potentially effect how far up your up turn goes? Or if you did something that made your up turn last longer then it should. Couldn't that effect the length of your down cycle in some way?

Obviously I can't prove that, because if I could I'd be winning awards in science, but I think it's a lot more plausable then almost every other explanation of karma I've ever heard.

I believe in Karma, but I also believe Karma doesn't always do its job, or does after long overdue.

No, it does not exist. Terrible things happen to good people and good things happen to terrible people. To make a person responsible for something that happened in another life is just ridiculous. A more valid idea might be the law of cause and effect.
