If you are already afraid of clowns, then IT will make you more afraid. If you managed to get over the fear, then IT would bring it back. Don't watch the movie. IT is a great movie, but it is scary as hell.

I saw that movie, when I was 5yrs old. I am a 21year old male with a kid myself, and I still hate clowns. I will never put a clown in my childs room. I hate the circus!

Ur fear may stay there for some time. I live in Chicago, and very shortly, after seeing that movie, a man named "Homie the clown" was terrorizing the city, and kidnapping kids, and raping them. The movie, and that man combined, scared the daylights outta me, lol.

Dont ever watch it again! stay away from the circus, and never watch a "Bozzo, re-run!

I had a fear of clowns. What you should do is, this Halloween you should be a clown. Then when you look in the mirror think "Hey I am scared of clowns, but I am not scared of myself, that is silly." Then go out with another clown and have sex. I am just trying to say, you should face your fear head on. Good luck.

honestly, clowns are scary. i havent gone to the circus since i was like, 3. or something. just let him know that oyur fear is a little problem for you, and it might be a minor setback. maybe he will be supportive and not make you watch it. on the other hand, he could go the other way. but to me, if he really loves you that much, then he'll be supportive of you and let you know that he won't make you do something that you don't want to do. :) hope it works out. rock his life.

To get rid of a fear you have to face it head on. That is why when you fall off a horse you have to get on back right away.

It's done over a period of time by exposing yourself more and more to your fear, and counseling is usually done along with it. He's your boyfriend- can't you talk openly to him? Just tell him what you said here. If he cares about you, he should understand. If not, find somebody who does.

Tell your boyfriend you're scared of clowns. It's not like you HAVE to watch it. If he's a decent human being he'll tell you not to watch it.

tell your friend about your problem. they will understand. and it's not that bad, my friend is terrified of clowns too and one day i forgot about this fear that i showed her a picture of a clown and she began to cry. i felt horrible about forgetting about her problem, so it is best that you tell people so you don't get scared and people will be watching out for you too :)
