Hey everyone
My name is Jimmy and im 19 years old, im going to be grauating from my highschool in Oregon in a few months. I recently had an akle surgery from a soccer accident. . Two days before my surgery my girlfriend left me because of untrue rumors that she heard. Mind you this was one week before christmas. Almost all if our friends were common friends and now it seems as though im hated in my school for no real reason. Im not invited to things anymore and im not really sure what i did other than be left alone in a hospitol bed for a few fdays. Ive been trying to get along with my life playing sports and working out but its just hard to be alone all the time. ive tried tallking to a counselor but that did little help. Im a really nice guy, in shape, funny and friendly but some reason people dont want to be around me anymore. If anyone has any advice please let me know, thank you.

Jimmy- I know it seems tough now and it may seem like it wont ever end, but it will. When I was in college my 2 best friends and i had a flaling out and we were never friends again. It was really hard because I did everything with them and I had never felt more lonely. 2 years later, I am married with a good job and good friends. You are about to go to college where you will meet tons of new people and high school will be a distant memory. You will have new friendships and experiences. So don't let it get you down. Try to joins ome sort of summer programs, maybe youwill meet new kids. Or maybe you can go to college a little early and start new friends there. Whatever it is, just remeber that this too will end.

Ask! The rumor that caused your gf to break up w/ u probably has something to do w/ everyone disliking u for no reason. Once you know, you'll be able to clear things up/ apologize (if you did anything wrong) and things should start getting back to normal. It might take a while, but hang in there and be paicient. When you go to college, it will be a good time to start over, so I wouldn't sweat it. Just try to get to the bottom of it. Besides, you can always make friends with guys at your gym that you work out at, or that are on your soccer team. Good luck and stay strong!

This is a rel tough one...i know being alone all the time really stinks I've been there when it seems that everyone around you that you though were your friend just don't want anything to do with you any more have you tryed talking to them..if not maybe you should try.. then if they don't respond ....find some new friends..besides you'll be graduating soon and your life will change greatly people that you saw every day you will lose touch with and it may be very hard...its part of growing up...people change they move on maybe they will come around...but if they don't your time to move on from this time in your life is quickly approaching and this just may be one of those situations that will prepare you for the changes yet to come....good luck

Yeah man, I know how it feels to be hated by the whole school & being a loner....It get's lonely...I know..You should start off slow, talk to someone who sits next to you in class, become friends with them, then explain to them about your issue (once you two are closer friends) then that person will more then likely talk to her friend about it, then it should spread on like wild fire...That or just become friends with anyone, be nice, & just show them how great a person you truly are. You'll be noticed if your good to yourself, trust me,,, A lot of people respect that, alright so just keep your head up & live in the best way that you can...
Good luck man

pardon me, but either u need some sort of self-evaluation to c if u r really right. or my guess is, someone has been spreading bad rumours about u in school. or maybe, it's just tat u need to give them some time to get used to u again, which sounds kinda weird.
