its not hunger.its churning or rather in technical terms it is called migrating motor complex or house-keeping contractions that clear your stomach and the intestine by peristalsis(alternate squeezing of the successive areas in the gut)every 90 minutes in preparation for the next meal.

Because it isn't hunger. Stomach pain isn't an indicator of hunger, it's a part of your body's detoxification process. And it isn't a requirement. I mean, you don't need to experience that. Take a read through "Fit For Life" by Harvey and Marilyn Diamond and apply some of the principles. You'll see things in a whole new (pain-free) light. Enjoy!

your body dumps stored glucose into your stomach eventually, which makes you less hungry.
