I'm a laker fan I think Kobe's the best player in the league. but are there a lot of Kobe haters because I see in the nba.com polls after every game he has people say next game he'll score less than 30. Is it just people that like other teams that say that or are there a lot of real Kobe haters?

Kobe is hated because he is great. Every major athlete has its haters and lovers. I think Michael Jordan summed it up best when he said "there are people that are going to love me but there will always be some that hate me". Kobe is hated because its easier then loving him. Its easy to see the flaws about people but its hard to see the good. Kobe may drop 50 but people will always bring up the shots he missed. Not all the shots he scored because its easier. You may see the games Kobe gets 10 assists but the games that are talked about are the ones when he get 2 or 3. I myself am a huge KB24 fan and i hope he drops 70 against the Warriors.

there are a TON of kobe haters, especially on this site. I'm not a kobe hater at all and I hate hearing all the fake stuff they have to say about him, but there are more kobe haters than any other player in NBA history. so be ready

Yes there's a lot of Kobe haters, probably because of his rape case.
He used to be my favorite player and I stopped being a fan of his after that incident. I just lost so much respect for him, and I think many others did as well.
He also seems to be a ball hog and even a dirty player with the way he tries to hit guys with his arm when he comes down from a shot. He's done it twice now.
And it's obvious now that Shaq was more responsible for the Lakers championships, not Kobe.
He's a great player, but there are many reasons not to like him, which is why he gets 'hated' on.

Kobe haters are people who look for small loopholes just to humiliate him. They have nothing legitimately negative to say about him since he is a complete player. Most haters come up with the same reason: "he raped a woman!" Oh please, that's not even part of basketball. Unfortunately, these haters are too stubborn and have a low general i.q. to realize that we are witnessing the second coming.

it is rediculus how many "kboe haters" there are log on here later at like 7 or 8 o'clock and every other post is about how much someone hates kobe
