My girlfriend has been seeing her ex boyfriend alot recently. As i dont live near here and i cant drive yet he drives her round on weekend and they hang out etc. but alot more so recently and has been during the week to. He has tried to split us up a few times before by saying they are together and shes cheating on me but my girlfriend still wants to be m8s with him. Should i be concerned about this? i have been going out with my gf for almost a year now.

He's troublesome but at least your girlfriend has resisted his efforts to split you up. Maybe she is truly over him but does just like him as a friend. What if you tried to see what she likes in him as a friend? There are no guarantees in life but I'm guessing as soon as you can drive, things will change for the better. You'll be driving her around and hanging out. It would be good if she and you could hang out in a group with this ex bf of hers and he could see that she is 'taken' and not be jealous. Maybe by that time, he would have changed some too.

I would be very concerned about this. Although i know ex's can still be friends she is seeing a little too much of him isn't she?!
I think it's difficult for you because you live away. I would speak to her and tell her you are not happy with the amount of time she is spending with him. Of she insists on still spending as much time with him then i am afraid I'd ditch her. She should put you first before her ex!!!

Well i think she is being unreasonable. How would she feel if the shoe was on the other foot so to speak? Explain to her what it is doing to you having her hang around a lot with him. Also tell her the things he has been saying to you. If she truly cares for you she will stop seeing her ex. Good luck honey. xx

thats hard. its all down to whether you completely trust your girlfriend or not. but its worrying as he cannot be trusted. you could try an become friends with him urself, u know, keep ur enemies close. basically tho, watever happens happens, and if he does split u up, then she obviously wasnt the girl for u in the first place. hope everything turns out ok!

she is cheating on you if she cared about you she would tell the ex to get lost if she still wants to be friends with some one who has apparently told lies about her then maybe they are not lies but what I don't understand is why she would still string you along if she is cheating with her ex also why would this guy lie to split you up and it's not jealousy because he spends more time with her than you do.

Hi, I think you already know the answer to this one. If she didn't have feelings for him she wouldn't still be hanging around with him, and lets face it they all say Oh we are only friends. Speak to her, tell her of your anxieties, but deep down you know realistically there can only be one outcome. Good Luck to you.

just ask her out straight what is going on if you know her so well then you will know if she is telling the truth,ignore her ex if he just wants what you have.
