Amen to that. It is very stressful. Wanna know a secret? Just don't think about all the bridges in your life that you have to cross. It is impossible to handle everything that is ahead of you at once or even to think about it. It can make you go insane. Cross on bridge at time. Stay positive and live in the moment. You will find out that life will easier and the stress will seem weightless.

Everything in the universe is vibrational. That means that everything has its own frequency. This includes thoughts, believe it or not.

Negative thoughts have a low frequency. Worry is negative. Low vibes are actually "heavy", dense, and they permeate your being at all levels, including the physical. That's what = weight.

You need to literally "lighten up" your thoughts, and the weight will dissipate. A lot of cardio, and meditation will help dramatically. Also, spend time in nature, and in enjoying yourself, generally..

Finally, the more control you have over your mind, the better off. Why? because then you'll spot your automatic negative thinking and cut it off quickly. Read *The Complete Idiot's Guide to Toltec Wisdom * for help on this. An excellent resource. Best of luck!! :))

Most of us hold our breath and tense our upper bodies (shoulders and neck) when we're under stress. It's a holdover from the days when you had to tense your muscles in preparation to run or fight when in danger. Nowadays most stress is constant and can't be run away from, so you tend to get a very persistent cramping and pain in your shoulders and neck. That feels as if you've been carrying a heavy load on them, therefore the saying "weight on your shoulders."

If you can't change it right away, come up with a strategy to get it done as soon as possible. Percevearance is your best friend in this fight. Good luck. You can do it.

Psychologically, it feels like you have weight on your shoulders because it wears you out mentally when you have something on your mind. It feels like you are tied down, restricted from feeling free.
