i need help with my itunes................the songs dont want to transfer to my ipod?

i put songs in my itunes library but when i plug in my ipod the the computer it goes to itunes but the songs dont transfer please help

hi ! does itunes recognize ur ipod when u plug it in? if so, a special ipod screen should appear in itunes when u plug in ur ipod. if the ipod screen appears, then maybe u have the "manage music and videos manually" option selected, which will prevent ur ipod from syncing automatically when u plug it in. try this to turn this option off:

1. start itunes, then plug ur ipod into ur computer

2. once itunes recognizes ur ipod and displays the ipod screen - on the Summary tab of this screen, *uncheck* the box next to "manage music and videos manually" so that this option is *not* selected.

3. now eject ur ipod from itunes and then quit itunes.

4. now start itunes again, and plug ur ipod into ur computer.

5. once itunes recognizes ur ipod, it should start syncing (copying ur songs from itunes to ur ipod) automatically! hope this helps ;)
