Sure, go right ahead, but if you think your gonna get subpoenas for breaking campaign promises, then you must be out of your mind. The dems are very wrong not to implement those recommendations, but the funny thing is, you and your ilk who claim to be so superior on national defense, had how long to implement those same recommendations? Oh, and put this is in your pipe and smoke it.

Lies to cover up Obstruction of Justice and you are OK with that? Have Republicans gotten so use to the Bush administration lies that any and all are OK? Republicans were caught off guard by the huge Democratic win in November for without that these lies would never have seen the light of day. Gonzalez should go, Cheney should go, and even Bush should have some respect for the office he holds and resign. Isn't it obvious by now Repulicans that Americans have seen through your BS?

First, there's a difference between lying under oath and making false campaign promises. If you charge every politician who lied on a campaign with perjurty, there would be no politicians.
Second, no that's not why people are interested in the USAtty firings. That issue is whether they were fired in order to prevent them from doing their job fairly. It has nothing to do with campaign promises, except promises by Gonzales who said he would not do what he just did.
So, Gonzales may have lied at his confirmation hearing. But even that's not the issue being investigated. I realize that it's easier to just mud-sling, but you're intelligent enough to actually look at the facts and the accusations being made.
Third, even all the current Democratic Congress did promise to abide by every single recommendate -- did they promise it would be done within the first 8 weeks they were in office? NO.
There are a lot more important things to deal with first. And there are hundreds of pages of recommendations. If, after two years, they still haven't done what they promised, that just makes them no different than 90% of politicians from both parties.

After Republicans took control of Congress in 1994, the House Government Reform Committee issued more than 1000 subpoenas to investigate alleged misconduct by the Clinton Administration and the Democratic Party, or two for every day Congress was in session.

AFRAID TO TELL THE TRUTH (FOR ONCE) UNDER
