its not difficult... do whatever u want to do before starting ur home work... then choose a small room where there are less distraction and start doing your home work. and one more thing, give attention to what is tought in class.
for exams there is a way.. write while you are trying to memorise... it really helps

There is nothing great & surprising as to what happens to you. You should know - talent is an individualistic entity. Your capabilities differ and should differ from each other. And the obvious reason I can attribute to is she may be more intelligent than you. 3hrs of your work is equal to or less than 15 mins of her work. Don't take it hard, thats the fact. It's not about concentration or hardwork. You work hard to achieve what YOU CAN and not beyond that. For instance, no matter how harder I work, I can never ever become an Albert Einstein. This is nature's law and this is how it should be !

First ting is to pay attention in class and always to keep note of everything your teacher says. When you get home you just need to check your notes or like your friend, check your notes on lunch break. You don't need to study for 3 hours after school. Don't study laying in bed either, it will make you sleepy.

You will meet such persons all the time --trust me..i did too.
Remember this..that in any test... . you know your limits and how much you can study. No person can force it for you.
and then.dont talk about the test before or after with your friends.
Talking about it earlier might confuse and make you nervous....[dont worry everyone does] and then talking later wont help as you have submitted your papers.
When you get your papers, analyse and see which section needs your attention and try to aim higher.
PS: as for ur friend...forget her....

Start studying a few days in advance -- don't cram it all into the night before the test. You remember things better when you don't cram.

I would rather study in a public library than at home. You can also go to a college library. They are very quiet. Just eat a good snack before you go- there's no eating allowed in the library. :)

Don't study too long. Always have a clear desk with no distractions and don't get up too often, or you will lose your concentration.
