I would stop overhyping the main event and try to make the entire show more compelling. The WWE title needs to become a big deal again. I would not overuse the big names making it more special.

I think I would also try a few controversial things such as show more blood on television, have more speciality types of matches, give the women's title to Victoria or someone who can actually wrestle, and I think it would be interesting to shake up the tag team division (since it currently sucks) and tag team say Ric Flair with Jerry Lawler and have the two old men kep narrowly winning matches showing experience over youth while teaching the young guys how to talk on the mike and wrestle.

I don't think that the matches from the late 90's, and first couple of years of the new century could ever be topped...I admit that i am a little biased because that's when i was in the last part of elementary, until my first couple of years of high school, but think about it....
Can anyone ever top the Undertaker Stone Cold Highway to Hell, Shawn Micheals and the Undertaker (First hell in a cell match) The Rock and HHH, Undertaker and Mankind, HBK and Bret Hart, Stone Cold vs. Bret Hart. and who could forget the Rock vs. Stone Cold. The Story lines, and the matches that came with them were one of a kind, and could never be topped unless you got the same group back together. I loved wrestling in the last 90's and wish that I could go back in time and record every raw, and at the time, the newly formed smackdown.
Can anyone remember getting as excited as I did, when you heard someone speak the words "Hell in a Cell"

Storyline writers don't book events, bookers do, but if I could start up an interesting feud and storyline I'd strike up the old Matt Hardy/Edge feud again. There was a lot of voyeuristic passion in their matches against each other, yet they both remained professional and level headed during them. I'd start off by having Jeff being jumped and beaten by RKO, then Matt'd show up with his e-gimmick (the angelic diablo) and start basically stalking, attacking, and fighting against Edge and Orton as a very brooding and dark character running off of insanity and bent on revenge. It'd sum up to a hell in a cell match between Matt and Edge, but this hell in a cell would have one special feature, no cage door. Matt and Edge would go at it for AT LEAST an hour, beating the vile visceral carnage out of one another, before Matt inevitably picked up the win.

I was just really disappointed how that feud ended, and where it left Matt's career. I thought it'd be the next HBK/Triple H feud, it'd have no real ending, just breaks in time.

I would make a stable of the Power Rangers who will protect the E from evil, the kids will love it.

Then, I would make another stable that rivals the rangers, that plans to destroy the company.....they will grow by injecting steroids into their body, and drinking green kryptonite to make a new creature that the rangers have to defeat to bring peace again.

There will be a man who controls all these beasts, and he/she will manage everyone of them, and give out a promo that relates to taking over the E, before an after every matchup.

Yeah, I got this from HUSTLE....

my match would be john cena vs. the great khali in a punjabi match so that he would beat the crap out of cena but that would not be the match to bring back the ratings. my match to bring back ratings would be the rock vs. stone cold vs. the undertaker vs. batista vs. umaga vs. triple h in a 6 man elimination match in the chamber of elimination for the world heavyweight championship

I'd have The Miz defeat John Cena and Bobby Lashley in a handicap match.
