It seems to me that it's just plain comfortable here where I am, and with all this 'Global Warming and All " so close to Mr. Gore's home, give me the shivers thinking bout' it. But a 22K+ sf home can't possibly be environmentally cool, can it ? I would have though those darn Republicans only did that sort of thing........ROFL !! God Bless America !!

Forget for a while about the Earth. Can Americans find how much warmer has America become warmer since the young Nation was founded? If it has, how far America's own domestic activities have contributed to this. Charity begins at home. Let all countries do that in a scientific manner first and then think of measuring external effects bothways. Accounting for the World/ Earth can come much later.

Sadly, unity of the American people isn't going to make a bit of difference in the big picture.
We need to unite as a planet. But as governmental greed will not allow the release of sovereignty of many nations, that isn't likely to happen until it's too late to save the majority of people on earth.
Worse, the biggest NWO type plans are just as corrupt as any democracy and as is shown in the European Economic Community, it leads to economic destruction of involved countries and the gathering of riches by the controlling elite.
It is human nature to destroy ourselves with greed by the smart and, in-fighting and inaction by the mulling masses.
Fortunately, none of us will live long enough to see the world controlled by a single superpower that benefits the rich elite and enslaves the rest of mankind.
Teach your children and grandchildren how to become part of the powerful elite or kiss your bloodline goodbye.

I think the country can unite but it will only happen if there is something that no one could really be against. The country united after 9/11 but it did not last very long. It is sad to say but that is the kind of event it takes to get people to stop bickering about the things that do not really matter.

If NYC goes under water from melting ice caps everyone would unite against global warming. But nothing like that is going to happen at least not for hundreds of years.

americans have a problem and it's called "perception"...people think this and that and they say this and that and what they say is random and what they think is random but both the thought and voice flow in the same direction....sometimes the flow can be altered in a way and the meaning behind both changes....that's how americans get confused, when they examine each others flow and complain that each one is different, whoopie doo, all flows are in the same direction.....i believe the world is getting hotter because more people live in the world and that each person does heat up the world (98.6???) you know!
